Welcome to the real world

Today in the modern world we can see the only the outskirts of a reality specific to the human nature. The main essential driver in the conduct of people is secrecy. The way in which social platforms are build are more and more mysteriously constructed. The grouping of people around certain purposes creates spheres of interests that sometimes are quite different from the public interests. The so called mafia groups sometimes start for a noble cause but end up in creating a system with own laws and leadership. The capacity of such groups to attract members is extremely high, these groups act on two levels: a. The level of hard power b. The level of soft power.
a. The level of hard power consists in recruiting and arming a number of people, especially young people, ready to obey orders and carry them out in any corner of the world. These people are usually mercenaries and some of them become assassins.
b. The more subtle level is more dangerous than the use of hard power. The union between people working within government bodies, intelligence agencies, banking system and these mafia groups creates a vast monolithic apparatus capable of influencing decisions. Their weapons are suggestion, influence and insinuation and in front of such a perverse organization the ordinary citizen is caged within the information they want to produce. These groups don’t care about ideology or about partnerships as long as their interests are served.
Before trying to change the world we should go with both eyes opened in trying to understand reality.
Democracy and the Brotherhood

The Muslim Brotherhood represents a very interesting organization with considerable political, social and religious elements that has continuously involved both in political and illegal activities.
The Brotherhood has a long history in Egypt, dating back to 1928; this history includes assassination attempts, plots and actions directed against different governments that were in power.
The founder of the Brotherhood was Mr. Hassan al-Banna who was an imam and teacher, the growth of the Brotherhood was exponential reaching 500.000 members in 1938.
The failed attempt of assassination against president Naser, determined a period of punishment for the Brotherhood, later on president Sadat has decreased the level of punishment against the Brotherhood, trying to use it more like a political tool. In time the Brotherhood became a part of the social life in Egypt and in the same time many parliamentary candidates had strong ties with it. In 2005 about 20% of the parliamentary seats were won by the Brotherhood’s candidates. The question remains regarding the way in which the Brotherhood will react to the latest changes from this country. Negotiations and participation in the democratic life of Egypt is essential if they seek normalization of the situation and to ensure the continuous development of a country with an immense potential such as Egypt.
Future closer ties between the US and Egypt?

The question remains unanswered; the reality proves that Egypt remains a very important element in the American grand strategy at the level of the Middle Eastern region. Egypt represents a regional factor with an important population, around 80 million inhabitants, and has an increasing development trend.
The Middle Eastern equation needs a stable Egypt, Israel needs a partner in Egypt for the peace process, but in the same time the Americans need a reliable and stable partner- the Red Sea is a vital point, given the need for access in the Persian Gulf region.
An unstable Egypt leaving its gates open for extremists will lead to an escalation with impossible to predict consequences for the stability of the region. Egypt could become a paradise for terrorist organizations and other groups supported by different states, if order will not be established.
The ties between Egypt and the US are important but let s hope that these links will bring mutual benefits and not a zero sum game…
History and Mubarack

Mubarack was a very peculiar character, that marked the history of the Middle East. He was caught in the middle of different types of crisis, his life was on several occasions endangered but he managed to escape.
Leader of the biggest Arab country, he was in power for 30 years, nobody could had envisioned the way in which he could lose the power but nevertheless it happened. Mubarack was a conservative figure, a man who knew that the present must be controlled and that the future has little or no space for idealistic constructions. He wasn`t a very charismatic leader but in the same time if you take a look at his facial construction you can recognize a strong character and presence.
Despite his well calculated moves, sometimes the course of events cannot be controlled, the people of Egypt demonstrated courage and in the same time the wish for change. Now another challenge looms ahead, will the new political construction from Egypt be able to correspond to the needs of modernization and democratization that the people seek?
The answer is yet unknown, that will depend on the way in which different power groups and pressure groups will understand the need for calm and reason.
Changes in the world?

Who will stand out for the victims of tyrannies? History? I strongly doubt that, but nevertheless we see the way in which things work within the general framework of the political sphere in the 20th and 21st centuries.
Revolutions have always covered an important amount of human feelings raging from fear to satisfaction, from terror to celebration. Now the question remains who is going to be the new ruling elite of Egypt? Sometimes the new ruling elite has no direct link with the revolutionaries or just take on a total different point of view since the 1st day of government.
Post-revolution construction will take some time, until the new power brokers manage to catch all the strings of state power. We must envision also the possibility that new forces will raise and among them possible counter-revolution forces, closed to the Mr. Mubarak.
Will Egypt become a model or it will be marked by organizational chaos?

Hello everyone! I would like to thank you for the visit!
The main reason of this site will be for exchanging information and constructing a small network of bloggers. It feals like a new adventure when you start leaving words on a piece of paper, virtual or not.
First of all I would like to send a message of encouragement to the Egyptian people, and let`s hope that the best solution will prevail. The important sacrifices are made by unknown people, usually young people with courage. We can see this happening on the streets of Cairo and other cities. In the Egyptian case there is a considerable amount of resemblance with some of the Eastern Europe revolutions and even with the Orange revolution from Ukraine. Of course the context is different but the struggle for rights and freedom is underlined here too.
Let`s see together how this important stage will end.. and further more who are the winners and who are the losers?
Hello world!
